When Wanda decided to start quilting, we converted one of our spare bedrooms into a sewing room. We built a Murphy bed to maximize space, but still have the ability to use it as a bedroom when guests come to visit. The cabinet was designed to fold and transform when we need to use the space as a bedroom.

It features a back that raises when working on larger quilt projects. The side cart with drawers for storage slides inside the cabinet when not needed. The sewing machine is on a spring-loaded lift and allows it to be completely stored down and out of the way or it will raise to two different heights for sewing. It is all on wheels so it’s easy to move.
