Hi! I’m Keith and this is KAW Creations

My passion for woodworking plus a degree in engineering helps me transform a piece of wood into a piece of art.

I began helping my grandfathers with woodworking when I was six, and I was immediately hooked. I started building furniture for family and friends in 1997 and I learned the craft. I am an engineer by training and I thrive on the challenge of a new project.

Over the years I have designed and built entertainment centers, tables, desks, bookcases, dressers, shelves, and dining room sets.

I continually invest and upgrade to the latest tools and technology.

Today, my shop has state-of-the-art power tools and lots of old favorites — saws, planers, jointers, and lathes.

In October of 2020 I bought a CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) machine to assist in some traditional builds as well making signs and photo carves. My love of design and building continues to be what keeps me moving forward always trying new ideas and concepts.

Some of my recent designs have incorporated metal fabrication for table and chair frames.

KAW stands for Keith And Wanda (my wife). She helps these projects come to life by assisting me with glue-ups, routing, sanding and finishing.

This work is a true partnership and labor of love.
